World’s water cycle becoming more unpredictable, UN warns

The United Nations has warned that the planet’s water cycle is becoming increasingly erratic, with events like El Nino expected to worsen the trend. Last year was one of the driest for the world’s rivers in decades, according to the UN’s World Meteorological Organization.
