This week Kengo Kuma added an arched entrance to Angers Cathedral

This week on Dezeen, Japanese architect Kengo Kuma unveiled the new entrance to the Angevin gothic-style Angers Cathedral. Kuma's design features five arched openings, wrapped in archivolts – a series of ornamental bands. The concrete entrance frames views of the historic sculptures in the doorway.
