African leaders shouldn’t be props at Putin’s summit

African presidents attending the upcoming third Russia-Africa summit will no doubt be asked for mining concessions or access to our abundant natural resources. But before any leader flies to Moscow, they should consider a different set of travellers – the young Africans who went before them and never came home.
